Zoe Renner(they/she)
I identify as queer, non-binary, white, anti-zionist jewish, non-disabled, and spiritual. I carry identities of both privilege and vulnerability, and try to embrace the complexity of living in the world with both. I love to spend my days reading, gardening, walking through the forest or swimming in lakes, and being with my loved ones. Pursuing my own healing and growth also matters to me; I engage in therapy, grief ritual spaces, and meditation practices to support my own wellbeing. I chose to bring an image of nasturtiums onto this site because they remind me to slow down and appreciate beauty, and they connect me to my chosen grandparents who had endless belief in me.
I strive to bring curiosity, humility, and a non-judgmental presence to my work. While I bring in specific education and experience to our work, I view you as the expert in your own life and body.
All are welcome here. I have particular interest in supporting individuals who identify as queer, are moving through grief or loss, or are navigating life transitions, loneliness, aging, or burn out.
My work is also deeply rooted in my values and beliefs; here are some that I carry:
- All bodies have dignity and worth
- We all deserve acceptance and belonging, even with our imperfections
- We all carry deep inner wisdom and an innate capacity for healing
- Healing happens in relationship with ourselves, our communities and the land
- Everything is change
