I base my psychotherapy rate on typical insurance reimbursement rates for psychiatrists.
$225/month
I charge a recurring monthly fee for medication management rather than a fee-for-service model (payment due each appointment). I believe that the best psychiatric care is based in a caring, responsive relationship, rather than the insurance fee-for-service model. The cadence of our appointments will match the ebb and flow of your mental health needs. Please inquire if you have more questions about this model.
I offer a few slots at sliding scale rates. I understand that therapy and psychiatric medication management is not accessible for everyone and am trying my best to lower financial barriers. I encourage you to take a look at the Green Bottle structure (Alexis J. Cunningfolk) to help you identify what best fits you, while also being thoughtful about others' needs and access. Please reach out about rates and availability.
I am not currently accepting insurance. Upon request, I can provide you with an itemized receipt of services (i.e. "super bill") that you can submit to your insurance to seek partial reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly prior to our visit to learn what to expect from your coverage or what proportion of my fee might be reimbursed.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
